The UAE’s Youth x Hub, a pioneering initiative by the Federal Youth Authority, offers young Emiratis a dynamic platform to voice their thoughts, exchange ideas, and tackle challenges.
This hub provides a space for young Emiratis, aged 15-35, from diverse backgrounds to connect and share their ideas, whether they are students, employed, or entrepreneurs. While primarily focused on teenagers and young adults, it also welcomes the contributions of older adults with valuable perspectives.
Embodying the UAE Government’s belief that young Emiratis can devise solutions to the nation’s most pressing issues, the Youth x Hub serves as a melting pot where innovative ideas flourish, addressing the needs of all ages.
Youth x Hub locations span the Emirates, and Ras Al Khaimah is no exception, with centers in Al Ghail, Al Dhait, and an upcoming location in Al Nakheel, making Ras Al Khaimah the emirate with the most hubs. The Al Ghail location features ‘The Office,’ offering administrative jobs and volunteering opportunities, while Al Dhait boasts ‘The Meetup,’ a versatile multi-seating space.
The name ‘Youth x Hub’ draws inspiration from the multifaceted nature of the symbol ‘X.’, which signifies multiplication, marks a spot and defines an entire generation. In mathematics and science, X is a common symbol, yet in everyday language, it is rare. X also symbolizes the number 10 in Roman numerals and scores 10 points in the Scrabble word game.
The Youth x Hub empowers Emiratis to address key challenges in a rapidly evolving world, fostering a future driven by the initiatives of its young people.
