It’s the season for cold drinks, warm sand, and balmy beach sunsets. Ras Al Khaimah has several public beaches that are easy to reach and open to all. You’ve got options – whether it’s a swim, a stroll, or just some downtime by the shore, here are some beaches to explore.
Al Maireed Beach Hilton Ras Al Khaimah
Right near the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort is a wide public beach called Al Maireed Beach where families gather, especially on weekends. With parking nearby, people often bring their own chairs and coolers. You’ll find food trucks and coffee spots on busy evenings. The beach has a long stretch of soft sand, and the water is mostly calm.
Old Corniche Beach
This is one of the more popular public beaches in town. Located next to the Corniche walking track, it’s easy to reach by car or bike. The area has rest areas, shaded benches, and food stalls during the evenings. It’s common to see football games being played and people jogging right next to the beach.
Flamingo Beach
Flamingo Beach is smaller than some of the other beaches mentioned here but offers a relaxed feel. There’s a path for walking or cycling and pretty fishing boats nearby. Locals stop here after visiting the fish market. The beach accommodates unobstructed sunset views.
